This department is the first and fundamental entry-level in the Basic Education Curriculum which admits learners from KG 2 who are new to the rather rigorous studies at the department. Visual teaching aids and practical teaching are employed in the learning process.

Subjects taught here correspond to the Ghana Education Service (GES) curriculum for lower primary as follows:
Mathematics (NUMERACY) Science
English (LITERACY)
OWOP (OUR WORLD AND OUR PEOPLE) P.E
R.M.E (RELIGIOUS AND MORAL EDUCATION) I.C.T
History and Creative Arts.

In all, we continue to do our best as a department to provide a holistic lower basic education for our cherished learners.

The Lower Primary department consists of 3 stages with two (2) streams namely: 1 Daisy, 1 Tulip, 2 Daisy, 2 Tulip, 3 Daisy and 3 Tulip. These classes are managed by highly competent facilitators and teaching attendants.

Here in the Lower Primary we help learners develop skills of independence and interdependence as a mode of transition from Kindergarten. Though transitions can be challenging, we gradually guide them on how to learn. This is to nurture them into having a good foundation to pursue the advanced stages of academia.

Our learning environment is carefully designed to support learners’ development. Classrooms are well furnished and adorned by diverse pictorial teaching and learning charts.
